WebJoint Cannabis Software Announces Major Platform Update

The all in one cannabis platform announces a new software update that will bring new innovation and solutions to the cannabis industry.

WebJoint is taking cannabis software to a whole new level. With now more than 150 clients in the California market, the West Los Angeles software firm is becoming a well known provider of cannabis software and marketing solutions. As the industry moves towards a legalized California market, WebJoint has positioned the platform to perform perfectly for collectives across the golden state. Today WebJoint announces a new software update that is poised to bring a breath of fresh air to software in the industry. "We are calling this update WebJoint 3.0 because it is our 3rd major update to the platform since our launch in 2014. This includes a new infrastructure for longevity and innovation" said CEO Christopher Dell'Olio.

The software update is bringing a multitude of new features to the rapidly growing client-base. The WebJoint 3.0 release will include the following:

We are calling this update WebJoint 3.0 because it is our 3rd major update to the platform since our launch in 2014. This includes a new infrastructure for longevity and innovation

Christopher Dell'Olio, CEO of WebJoint Cannabis Software

  1. New server infrastructure and security measures - This has been done to prepare licensee's for long term scalability and compliance. This will also allow WebJoint to develop new features and upgrades at a faster pace required for industry growth.
  2. Quick load times and reporting - More performance upgrades have been made to increase the speed and reliability of the WebJoint powered sites. This means dispensaries running their websites on the platform will have a faster and more reliable solution for their customers access. Sales and inventory reporting will also have faster load and exporting times.
  3. New vendor marketplace - One of the biggest updates to WebJoint 3.0 is a new marketplace. In a nutshell, clients can find and activate 3rd party software, find reliable product vendors and even view and activate new website themes directly from the marketplace.
  4. New Intuitive Inventory Tracking - A new and simplistic way to track cannabis inventory. Quick and easy purchase orders, distribution to rooms, segment inventory to drivers and new compliance/estimation reports that help you make better operational decisions.

With the new infrastructure in place WebJoint believes it will continue to remain a strong provider of cannabis software solutions. Since 2014 the platform is still the only software in the industry that provides a website builder and e-commerce solution. "We have converted countless websites from WordPress, Shopify and other e-commerce platforms. It's because we provide an actual all in one software with features built specifically for cannabis companies" said COO Hilart Abrahmian. Dispensaries and delivery services looking for a robust software need it to work hand in hand with their custom website.

A unique thing about WebJoint 3.0 is the brand new marketplace, providing a platform for 3rd parties to add their products and services to the ecosystem. WebJoint is planning on leading the industry by vertically integrating 3rd party vendors and solutions. Currently WebJoint has an active integration with OnFleet, a software that automatically dispatches orders and tracks driver location. WebJoint also recently announced a partnership with CyberCar who plans on bringing blockchain technology to track vehicles and the transportation of product. Not only will the marketplace have new technology options, but it will also include exclusive access to product vendors. "We're contacted by countless software providers who have services that would make a great addition to our platform. We also have clients who are looking for reliable wholesale product so we added vendors to the marketplace as well. Finally, WebJoint is the only cannabis software with a powerful website theme engine. So we partnered with a wide array of designers and agencies to create beautiful website themes that our clients can activate with a few clicks. Now our clients can source these vendors and plugins directly from the WebJoint back office" said Dell'Olio

The WebJoint 3.0 update has been in development since the first quarter of 2017. The update is scheduled to release by the first week of August 2017. WebJoint officials have stated that clients can expect the more frequent software updates after 3.0 has launched as the new infrastructure will allow faster development time-frames. The company's plan is to position for further legalization and utilize their versatile marketplace to continue solving staggering problems the industry faces.
